Who is eligible for the free training?
The primary candidates for the free training are people actively employed in the design and construction industry who are employees or associates of the grant partners. Upon providing training to all the primary candidates, any remaining grant funds will be used to provide training to others who have signed on the wait list.

Who is providing the training?
With the assistance of its industry partners, the San Jose / Evergreen Community College District has developed practical BIM training for professionals currently in the workplace. Training will begin in January 2010 at the Workforce Institute.

As a division of the San Jose Evergreen Community College District, the Workforce Institute has been providing customized education, professional development, and skills upgrade training for businesses in Silicon Valley since 1988.
